Hi all!
So today I am going to share with you some of the resources that I use to learn and practice my french along with the difficulty level! I hope you go check them out!

YouTube:

  • Damon and Jo - Shut Up And Go
    • Damon and Jo's channel is actually a travel channel but they both speak french and have a few very useful videos!
    • Difficulty: Intermediate

  • Monde Des Petits
    • Monde des Petits is actually a kids channel with a song for everything and vocabulary galore! I absolutely love it and my son does too!
    • Difficulty: Beginner

  • French Guy 3000
    • Ok so this guy isn't french, he's american but he has some great beginner lessons!
    • Difficulty: Beginner

  • Alexa Polidoro
    • Alexa has so many great pronunciation videos.
    • Difficulty: Beginner

There are so many resources with YouTube but those are my favorites!

Podcasts:
  • Coffee Break French
    • This is a great podcast to practice listening. If you start at the beginning in Episode 1 it is the very basics of french, but their Facebook page gives varying levels of activities to practice your french!
    • Difficulty: Beginner - Intermediate

Blogs:
  • Comme Une Française
    • Comme Une Française is a blog, learning website and videos all in one!
    • Geraldine from Comme Une Française taches you how French is really spoken in France.
    • Difficulty: Beginner - Intermediate

  • Transparent Language
    • This blog brings in french vocabulary, history, the arts, verb lessons - everything you could possible have a question about.
    • Difficulty: Beginner

Websites:

  • FluentU
    • I just discovered this site, it is great! It helps you learn new vocabulary and work on your listening comprehension by showing you different videos on your level.
    • Difficulty: Wherever Level you are at, they have them all!

  • French About
    • This site offers everything you can imagine about the french language and culture. For me it is a great site to double check my conjugations etc.
    • Difficulty: Beginner

Apps:

  • Duolingo
    • This is a great beginners app to practice sentences and vocabulary.
    • Difficulty: Beginner

Also! Make sure you invest in a good French - English dictionary to reference at anytime you may need it!

These are just a few of my favorite resources, though there are SO many out there now a days.

Bonne Chance!
