If a squash can make you smile
If you like to waltz with potatoes
Up and down the produce aisle...

Lima beans! Collard greens! Peachy keen!

There's never-ever-ever-ever-ever been a show like VeggieTales!
There's never-ever-ever-ever-ever been a show like VeggieTales!
It's time for VeggieTales!

Or you could listen to it here: Veggie Tales Theme

Do you now have the catchy Veggie Tale theme song bouncing around in your head?? Good! Me too :)

The Veggie Tales and its theme song have always had such a special place in my heart. I grew up with them, I remember watching them with my churches kids ministry surrounded by all of my friends. They have always made me smile, especially during the harder parts of my childhood, with songs like Where Is My Hair Brush and their rendition of Feliz Navidad - which I remember as clear as day.

When I had a little one of my own I had made sure to get some Veggie Tale DVDs for him to watch and enjoy as much as I did. And admittedly I got them for me too.

And you bet we dressed up for Family Christians "Dress Like A Veggie" Event.
K was Bob and I was Larry. It worked great for his Halloween Costume too! Needless to say we LOVE the Veggie Tales!

They provide such a great introductory to many Bible stories and life lessons that even the youngest of child can enjoy and understand. Today, it is really hard to find wholesome, and Godly shows to watch with your kids. So I am so happy that Veggie Tales has kept their style, moral integrity and desire to spread Gods word despite becoming so popular.

Just another example of the Veggie Tales remarkably fun, cute and meaningful work is its new film, Noah's Ark that will be hitting stores come March 3rd!

After the hollywood blockbuster/disaster of Noah which takes a shocking amount of creative liberty, it is a breath of fresh air to see the Biblically accurate representation of Noah with its modern nuances, and ironic references for mom and dad to enjoy.

Though, I expected nothing less from the Veggie Tale creators.

The Veggie Tale's Noahs Ark centers around Shem, (played by Wayne Brady might I add!) a newlywed who, with is wife, are bicycling home from their honeymoon. Excited to start building their house and life together.  However, when they approach their home, there is a gigantic ark right where their new home was supposed to be.

Confused and upset, Shem has to overcome his struggle of letting go of his plan in order to see God's plan. A lesson that we all, as humans, have struggled with at one time or another.

Noah's "cruise ship for animals" theme which includes water slides, massages, trains and room service, serve as a great place for the animals to wait out the 40 days and 40 nights of rain, and time spent waiting for a sign from God. References to Titanic (the movie), and a giant squid that attempts to take over their movie make this film a fun one to see for the kids and adults alike.

And they didn't forget to add a "Silly Songs with Larry" that is catchy too!

The Veggie Tale Creators always find such clever ways to share meaningful lessons that kids of all ages can learn from -- and Noah's Ark is no exception!

Veggie Tale's Noah's Ark is now on Pre-Order Right Now
So go be one of the first who get to add this new Veggie Tale film to their collection!
